Step 1
If you decide to remove the car from the traffic police register due to its sale after an accident, call a tow truck to deliver it from the parking lot to the traffic police registration point.

Wait for the documents to be processed. Obtain a vehicle passport stating that the vehicle has been deregistered.

If you remove the car from the register due to disposal, call the traffic police inspector to the parking lot of the wrecked car. The inspector will check the engine and body numbers with those indicated in the vehicle passport and issue a vehicle inspection report.
Step 8
Contact the registration authority in the traffic police at your place of residence, fill out the application form for deregistering the car and receive a receipt for payment of the state duty for deregistering the car.

Pay the state fee at a branch of any bank.
Step 10
Contact the registration authority of the traffic police with the vehicle's passport, inspection certificate, receipt of payment, application for removing the car from the register due to its disposal.
Step 11
Wait for the documents to be processed. When the vehicle is scrapped, the vehicle passport remains in the archive of the registering authority.
