Step 2
To replace the license, you will need to provide a number of documents to the traffic police department. We are talking about a Russian passport, a valid medical certificate, an old driver's license, a receipt for payment of a state duty and an application that must be filled out directly at the traffic police. In some cases, you may be asked to provide documents stating that you were trained in a driving school, as well as that previously you were actually registered as a driver with the traffic police at your place of residence.
Step 3
An application for document replacement can be filled out at the traffic police in five minutes. If you only have a temporary registration, you will need to confirm it with the appropriate documents. To get a new ID, you do not need to take photos in advance, because now you can take a photo in the traffic police department itself.
Step 4
Hand over all available documents in a special window, after a while an employee of the department will call you to the office for photographing, where he will take a picture. Then you will need to wait a few minutes again, after which you will be given a new driver's license.
Step 5
You are not allowed to drive a car with an invalid / expired driver's license, so please try to update the document in time. Otherwise, you run the risk of running into a large fine of up to 15 thousand rubles.
