The purchase of a vehicle implies its careful and legal registration. The seller and the buyer must follow all the rules, collect the necessary list of documents and use the services of a verified notary. Before registering a vehicle in Ukraine, check that you have all the necessary documentation.

- - Ukrainian passports;
- - vehicle registration certificate;
- - general power of attorney (if any).
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the vehicle from the register. This must be done only at the place of registration. In this case, a general check of the vehicle is carried out against all databases. As a result of this check, stolen and seized cars are found.
Step 2
Re-register the vehicle. To get started, get involved in legalizing the purchase and sale transaction. This can be done at the stock exchange, at a notary or at a thrift store. If you decide to use the legal services of the car dealership where the purchase was made, then as a result of obtaining a special certificate, you become the full owner of the car.
Step 3
Now register the vehicle. This can be done exclusively at the place of residence.
To do this, you will need the following documents: - passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
- insurance policy;
- vehicle appraisal report drawn up by an expert;
- registration certificate for the car (it must contain notes on the removal of the car from the register and on its sale).
Step 4
With all of the above documents, appear at the MREO GAI (by all means at the place of residence). The vehicle must be inspected by an expert examiner who verifies the authenticity of the body and engine numbers, therefore, the presence of the car is necessary. When planning to register the car, remember that you will have to spend some expenses. It:
- payment of 3% of the cost of the car to the pension fund;
- transport tax;
- traffic police services.
