The lack of dashboard lighting is sometimes explained by banal reasons. Maybe the pins of the connectors just got rusty, scientifically speaking, corroded. Therefore, visually check the condition of the wiring and contacts of the circuit, and then proceed with a more detailed check of all components.
The reason that the dashboard stopped burning may be the burnout of the bulbs (LEDs), as well as the fuses. The relay or fuse may need to be replaced.
When replacing a light bulb, you need to select a light bulb of the same power as the burned out one, otherwise the panel will be unevenly illuminated. It is not recommended to put more powerful lamps instead of burned-out ones, due to the fact that plastic can melt. Please note that if you previously installed "non-native" elements, then it was they who could cause the breakdown now.
To find a more serious problem, you will need to use diagnostic tools, such as a circuit tester or voltmeter.
Perhaps the cause is blown fuses or relays. To replace them, you need to understand their location. As a rule, they are located in mounting blocks located in the passenger compartment under the dashboard on the right side.
Do not replace fuses with self-made jumpers or fuses rated for a different amperage, this is very dangerous and can damage electrical appliances and even cause a fire. Use special plastic tweezers to remove the fuses.
