A car, according to the exact statement of a famous literary character, has long been no longer a luxury, but a means of transportation. The number of people who want to buy it is growing every year. But since this is a high-risk vehicle, every potential owner must learn to drive. Every year there is a growing need for the services of driver-instructors, for whom training for beginners is an additional source of income.
Instructions
Step 1
Until 2001, there was a rule according to which any driver with more than 3 years of driving experience could teach a beginner. Now the driver-instructor, regardless of the length of service and experience, must have a certificate for the right to study. If he does not have such a document, in accordance with Article 12.7.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO), he can be fined 2,500 rubles. By the way, the student will be fined exactly the same amount (Article 12.7.1 of the Administrative Code).
Step 2
Thus, if you want to earn extra money by teaching driving, you need to either be officially listed in the staff of a driving school (then the registration of this permit document will be taken over by its leadership), or register as an individual entrepreneur (IE) and get this certificate yourself.
Step 3
Your vehicle used for training must have the identification mark "Training Vehicle", that is, a triangle with a red letter "Y" inside. Also, the transport must have additional clutch pedals (this rule does not apply to cars with an automatic transmission) and brakes. It should contain an additional rear-view mirror for the instructor.
Step 4
Remember that the initial training of a beginner is allowed only in closed areas, or on specially designated race tracks. And only after you make sure that the trainee has mastered the initial necessary skills (smoothly moving off, turning, turning on the turn signal before this, reversing, braking), you can go out on the road to continue training. At first, try to choose routes for training that run on calm roads, without a dense traffic of cars. Then gradually complicate the route. Also, remember that there are roads (eg highways) on which driving practice is prohibited.
Step 5
If you are teaching a teenager, make sure they are 16 or older. If in doubt, ask for a document proving his identity with the date of birth. Otherwise, if it turns out that you taught driving to a person under 16 years old, you may also be prosecuted for an administrative offense.
