If you have to act as a driving instructor, your skill should be at the highest level. Although only the ability to drive a car is not enough for training. It is necessary to develop a special program with the help of which you can gradually teach the student the basic principles of driving. And of course, any training should be built taking into account the personal qualities of the trainee and his level of driving.
Instructions
Step 1
Create a learning plan according to the student's skills. If you are going to teach driving from scratch, practice the maneuvers on the court first. By the way, the first lesson should always take place on the site and be of informational character. And only after that you can decide how to carry out the classes further.
Step 2
Include the following exercises in a standard training plan from scratch: acceleration-deceleration, acceleration with gear changes, acceleration-deceleration with switching to neutral speed, phased braking, turns, reversing, parking. It is in this order that the exercises complement each other. Set aside enough time for each element to bring it to error-free execution. And only after that move on to another. The difference between individual training and a driving school is precisely in the fact that there is no need to rush anywhere and you can dwell in detail on the element that does not work out.
Step 3
Before making the first trips into the city, teach your student to park. After all, parking gives a sense of the dimensions of the car, teaches the correct operation of the steering column, helps to understand the geometry of the maneuver. To practice parking, you will need 4 orange traffic cones to mark the boundaries of a virtual garage or a standing vehicle. First, show all the elements yourself, pronouncing absolutely all the actions.
Step 4
Make the first exits to the real road in the morning on a weekend, when there are few cars on the road. Better if it is a calm, straight road. The student's task is to adapt to the fact that he is not alone on the road, to learn to look at the mirrors, to work out gear changes, to perform the simplest maneuvers. The first lesson on the road should not exceed one hour. Whereas classes on the site are advisable to spend at least two hours daily.
Step 5
Watch the student's reaction. If while the movement on the road is more "unconscious", work out the same route to complete confidence. It is necessary to move to more difficult sections of the road with heavy traffic gradually. To get started, take a ride on such a road at a time when there is little traffic. Let the student remember all the intersections, traffic lights, deal with the markings. Be sure to practice row-to-row rebuilding. So start driving gradually during the busier hours.
