Step 1
If the car is bought abroad, then be sure to find out its class in advance, before the final conclusion of the deal. If you buy a car on the territory of the Russian Federation, then determine the class of the purchased car by contacting special certification bodies. Step 3
To use the services of the agency, find out the VIN number of your car. You can see the number in the vehicle registration certificate. Then enter this number on the site and compare the match at the level of the first nine characters. Consider the fact that the engine model of the car must be exactly the same. If you are faced with the problem of identifying a different environmental class, then enter more characters from the VIN number.
Step 4
If you have not received an unambiguous result, then contact the certification bodies, which will determine the class of the machine and issue you an environmental certificate.
