If in a hurry you parked your car in the wrong place, went away on business, and at that time was taken away in a tow truck, do not panic. You can easily return the vehicle, but you still have to pay a fine.
Instructions
Step 1
If you saw that the tow trucks are preparing your car for loading, demand to put it in place, you have every right to do so. This will not save you from the penalty for incorrect parking, but it is better to pay for it right away than to spend a lot of time later trying to get the car out of the parking lot.
Step 2
If you went outside and did not find your own car, first dial "02" and tell the operator on duty about what happened. Be sure to mention the make of the car, its number, as well as the time and place of the incident. When calling, have a pen and notepad ready as they will dictate the phone number of the evacuation service to you.
Step 3
Contact the evacuation service and specify exactly where your vehicle was taken. You can visit the car parking lot to make sure that everything is in order with your vehicle. After that, you will need to visit the special department of the traffic police in order to draw up documents and receive a penalty receipt.
Step 4
Be mentally prepared for the fact that the tow truck drivers can take your car not to the nearest car parking lot, but to a parking lot at the other end of the city. Until the car is at the impoundment and it is not registered in accordance with the existing legislation, you will not receive any information about its whereabouts.
Step 5
When visiting the traffic police department, be prepared to show the inspector your passport, driver's license and technical passport of the car. The traffic police officer will give you an administrative violation order and protocol. You are obliged to pay the fine and pay off the administrative debt within 30 days from the date of issue of the order.
Step 6
If you managed it in a day, you can get by with "little blood", but if you pick up the car 24 hours after its immediate evacuation, you will have to pay for every hour it is in the parking lot. When the car is in the parking lot for more than 6 months, the counter stops, but in this case, you can return the car only with the help of the court.
