Most importantly, never drive when you are sick, drunk, angry, very tired, or struggling to get your bearings. A car is a safe means of transportation for cheerful, sane and self-confident people.

Before setting off, make sure your car is in good working order. Check the level of oils and liquids, the condition of the optics, measure the pressure in the tires.
