Step 1
To register a car, you must have documents confirming ownership. If you have purchased a new car at a car dealership, you must have a vehicle purchase agreement. If you register a car purchased from a private person, you must draw up a sales contract for a vehicle or have a general power of attorney with the right to sell the car to a third party.
Step 2
Registration can take two days. On the first day, you can take in the traffic police department, where you will register the car, receipts for payment of state duty and an application. The application will be filled in by the owner of the car on the basis of personal data.
Step 3
The next day, with a completed application form and paid receipts, you submit the documents to the vehicle registration window. You must also have a vehicle title, insurance, and passport with you.
Step 4
After submitting the documents, the car at the site must be presented to the traffic police inspector for inspection to verify the numbered units. After the inspector signs the application, you need to remove the transit numbers and hand them over to the t / c registration window
Step 5
A car for inspection is presented in its pure form, used cars - with a washed engine. Otherwise, the inspector can force you to clean the engine or body numbers yourself, and this will take time. There are certain car brands, Fiat for example, which have the engine number on the bottom. Therefore, you need to park the car for inspection on the overpass.
Step 6
After all the documents are accepted, you just have to wait. Processing new documents can take several hours.
Step 7
When issuing new documents, you will receive a certificate of registration of the vehicle, PTS with the entered data of the new owner, new numbers. The numbers must be screwed up before leaving the premises of the traffic police department. Within 21 days, you must pass the vehicle inspection.
