Whatever people do to stand out from the crowd. After the 1920s, airbrushing began to actively develop in the United States; for the first time, Americans saw painted Harley Davidson motorcycles on the streets. A little later, airbrushes began to paint on the bodies of racing cars, and after a few more years they switched to ordinary cars. But airbrushing, as an art technique, was noticed in the 60s, since that time it has become popular among Americans.

What do you need to do airbrushing? Of course, you should be able to draw beautifully, or at least sketch.

First, you must choose the image that you want to apply to your "iron friend". Be individual in your choice, some airbrushing companies will select a drawing not only based on your preferences, but also the design of the car, because an inappropriate picture can "kill" the look of your car.

After that, you must inspect the place where the drawing will be applied - it should be even and without scratches. In the event that there are any defects on the surface, they must be removed using special tools, primer, putty and paint that matches the color of your car. As a rule, it is better to leave this work to specialists, since you can do something wrong, and subsequently the drawing will lie unevenly.

When the surface is ready, rub it with sandpaper until smooth. This is necessary for the image to lie flat. Then, using a paint sprayer (airbrush), apply the drawing according to the sketch, remember that the thinner the jet of air with small drops of paint, the more accurate the drawing will be. Finally, cover the image with varnish and let it dry completely.

Typically, this entire procedure takes about three weeks.
