Ford cars are very popular among the middle class. These are modernized dynamic cars, which, in combination with beautiful interior decoration and excellent maneuverability, are comfortable cars of a high level. However, as with any car, there are some minor drawbacks here.

Step 1
The hood in Ford Focus has an external opening method, which allows you to constantly control the key and turn off the ignition when you get out of the car to open the hood and fill, for example, with glass cleaning solution. Place the car key in the hood lock, which is centered just above the radiator. Carefully lift up the Ford badge on the lock and turn it to the right. This movement will release the lock, which depicts two arrows and numbers indicating the further sequence of actions. Insert the key carefully into the lock.
Step 2
Then follow the direction of the arrow that points to the number 1. Turning the key in the lock, apply a little more effort. After that, immediately turn the key in the opposite direction, follow the arrow to number 2. Repeat the procedure of moving from one to two until you hear a click, which means that the hood lock has opened.
Step 3
Raise the hood. Holding it with your right hand, with your left try to reach the metal support-holder, which prevents the hood from closing and holds it in the required position at the moment. This stand is located closer to the windshield on the left. Using the holes for the holder located on the left under the hood, adjust the stand according to the task and the chosen position. Select one of the holes and lower the hood onto the stand.
Step 4
Do not close the hood while the key is in the lock. Remove the key and turn the Ford badge to the left. Then slightly raise the hood and fold the holder. When closing the hood, make sure that the lock has clicked and the hood is locked.
