The maintenance regulations for cars provide for the replacement of engine oil after every ten thousand kilometers. During the oil change in the engine, after flushing the lubrication system, the oil filter is also changed.

- - a special wrench for the oil filter,
- - a new filtering oil element.
Instructions
Step 1
The used engine oil is removed from the heated engine through the hole in the sump, after unscrewing the plug from there, or through the dipstick tube for measuring the oil level with a vacuum pump.
Step 2
Despite the manufacturer's recommended maintenance intervals, the timing of an engine oil change depends largely on the operating conditions of the vehicle. So, for example, in winter, when the car needs to be warmed up before each trip, and the engine is idling more often, the specified frequency is reduced. And with the onset of the warm season, the oil in the engine must change, regardless of the mileage traveled.
Step 3
After removing the used engine oil, the old oil filter is unscrewed with a special wrench. And then the engine oil is poured into the inside of the new filter element and its sealing gum is lubricated, after which the filter is twisted by hand in its original place.
