Instructions

Step 1

First you need to remove the torpedo. It is under it that the stove is located. This process can take a long time, therefore it is recommended to take care of the place where the dismantling will take place in advance. It is best to put the car in a warm garage and do all the work in it calmly. In addition to replacing the stove, it is recommended to thoroughly clean all air ducts. The fact is that they can become very clogged over time.

Step 2

Remove the pads that are installed on the racks. To do this, you need to unscrew three screws on each side. Next, proceed to dismantle the steering column trim. It is attached at the bottom with five self-tapping screws. It is also necessary to remove the steering wheel itself. It will interfere with the dismantling of the panel. Next, bend the clamps that secure the gear lever ring. Do this carefully as they can break easily.

Step 3

After that, remove all the overlays that are installed on the panel. Dismantle the ashtray as well as the cigarette lighter. To remove the side panel overlays, you need to unscrew the screws. They are in the middle of these overlays. Then dismantle the alarm switch, the levers that are under the steering wheel, as well as the control knobs for the operating modes of the stove. All of them are fixed on small screws. Place all screws and screws in the designated area. Please note that you can remove the panel only when the negative terminal of the battery is removed.

Step 4

Then you can proceed to dismantle the heating block. Unscrew the self-tapping screws on which the panel body is attached. Then gently pull it towards you. The torpedo should move back about 10 cm. Now you can easily reach the heating block. It is fastened with several bolts. Unscrew them carefully. After that, disconnect all wires, as well as air ducts that fit the stove. Remove the old heater from the grooves and replace with a new one. Assemble in reverse order.
