Tired of breathing low-quality air and swallowing dust in the cabin of your "ten"? Now is the time to inspect the cabin filter and, if necessary, replace it with a new one.
Necessary
- - new cabin filter;
- - Phillips screwdriver;
- - slotted screwdriver.
Instructions
Step 1
The cabin filter is located under the right-hand windshield trim and is pressed down with a cover to secure it. Open the bonnet of your vehicle and remove the bonnet seal from the edge of the bulkhead trim at the right-hand windshield trim.
Step 2
Then, using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the self-tapping screw for the left and right windshield liners and the three self-tapping screws for the bulkhead upholstery to the lining.
Step 3
Prying off with a slotted screwdriver, remove the three self-tapping screws for securing the right windshield lining and using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three self-tapping screws for the right windshield lining.
Step 4
Remove the right windshield trim. Take a Phillips screwdriver and unscrew the four screws securing the cabin filter cover. Remove the cover.
Step 5
Remove the old filter from the niche and replace with a new one. Follow the above steps in reverse order to complete the installation.
