Correctly configured bindings are the guarantor of a comfortable skiing or descent from a snow-covered mountain. However, you need to be able to customize these same mounts. The adjustment of the ski mounts is especially important. After all, without properly adjusting the bindings, you risk losing your skis halfway from the top of the descent to its foot.

Instructions

Step 1

Whatever the binding is, it should be tailored to your feet and boots. For the fasteners to work correctly, it is necessary to press against the head of the boot with a certain effort.

Step 2

First determine the size of the shoe (the length of the sole), now find this number on the mount. On most bindings, it sits on the side of the heel.

Step 3

Next, you need to move the stepped latch to the desired mark so that the mark falls into the notch. In this case, you need to set the size only when the boot is put on and inserted into the mount.

Step 4

Now place the heel of the boot so that the heel rests on the pedal of the open heel, touching the part that rests on the back of the sole. The sock should rest against the head of the fastener in the buttoned state, if there is no corresponding indicator.

Step 5

The actuation of the fasteners should be installed using special adjusting bolts. And it is measured in DIN units. It is recommended to adjust the actuation force with the help of a specialist (ski-master) or independently, according to a special table attached to the mountings.

Step 6

Divide your weight by 10, then subtract 20%. If you are an experienced skier, then there is no need to subtract interest. Elderly people can take away all 30%. Now set the resulting figure on all 4 scales.

Step 7

While standing still, apply force to the mount. This is required for verification. In the event that the skis fall off, or the boot moves in the mount, add a little effort (½ divisions at a time) until you feel stable.
