Step 1
First you need to find a place where the headlights will be adjusted. The platform must be horizontal. There should be a flat wall next to it. Before proceeding with the adjustment, it is necessary to prepare the machine. Check tire pressure. It should be optimal. It is also worth checking the performance of all lamps that are in the headlights. The machine must be filled and equipped. A person of the same weight as the driver must be behind the wheel during adjustment.
Step 2
Then you can start marking the wall along which the headlights will be aligned. To do this, move the machine almost against the wall. Then mark the center point of the car on the wall, as well as the center axes of each headlight bulb. After that, it is necessary to connect the points of the centers of the lamps with a horizontal line. It remains only to draw vertical lines through the points of the centers of the lamps, as well as through the point of the center of the car.
Step 3
Now you can start directly adjusting the headlights. For this purpose, it is necessary to tighten the headlight adjustment screws. They are most often located on the back of the headlights, under the hood. This way you can direct the light beam correctly.
Step 4
Sometimes the headlights have to be adjusted one at a time. First, cover the left headlight with cardboard. It shouldn't shine on the wall. The right headlight is then adjusted. Then vice versa. Headlights need to be adjusted on the included near set. The headlights should be flush with the horizontal strip you painted on the wall. It remains only to adjust the headlights in the horizontal plane. The point where the light tilts upward should be located at the intersection of the stripes. If all actions are performed correctly, then your headlights will shine well and correctly.
