The jet is one of the main elements of the carburetor, which is a calibrated hole for the metered supply of fuel. Jets are classified according to their function. They can be fuel, air, compensation, main, idle and others.

Instructions

Step 1

To check the nozzle for clogging, slide the rubber hose over the base of the sprayer and dip the sprayer in water for clarity. In this case, you can simultaneously check the tightness of the discharge valve, but for this, fix the sprayer in a vertical position and create a vacuum in the hose.

Step 2

Clean clogged nozzles with copper wire or a blower. If necessary, separate the orifice tubes from the holder by gently rotating and pulling out of the pressed holes.

Step 3

After flushing and assembling the carburetor, it is necessary to check the direction of the fuel jets from the nozzle. Carefully bend the tubes so that when pumped, fuel enters the gap between the walls of the small and large diffusers into the primary and secondary chambers, without touching their surfaces.

Step 4

If you do decide to change the jet, then buy a carburetor that matches the size of your engine or is close to this and use it to replace the jet. Start with the fuel jet and then blend the air jet. Carry out the adjustment sequentially, starting with the first camera. Start configuring each subsequent camera only after completing the configuration of the previous one.
