Step 1

Pay a deposit to the account of the Moscow Motor Transport Customs Post (MATP) or to the account of the Moscow Regional Motor Transport Customs Post (MOATP). Car import will be allowed if the following requirements are met: pay customs duties; identify the car; submit a certificate of control over the delivery of the vehicle.
Step 4
Deliver the car to MOATP or MATP. To do this, you must arrive at the post in advance and get in line. On the appointed day, you should appear at the post already with the car and submit a notification that the car has arrived.
Step 5
Place the car in a temporary storage warehouse, conclude an agreement with it. Have your vehicle inspected by a customs inspector to find out the necessary information, such as year of manufacture, customs value, etc. Carry out an expert assessment of the vehicle if necessary. This is an important customs clearance point. When importing a non-new car, the date of its manufacture is determined. otherwise, the basis for assessing the customs value of the vehicle is the act of customs inspection. The customs clearance of the car ends after all customs payments have been paid, with the issuance of UHTS and PTS.
