It is especially difficult to deal with the customs clearance procedure when you purchased a vehicle for the purpose of disassembly for parts.

Step 1
It will not be possible to completely clear the car for spare parts, since in this case it is necessary to present the car body and engine separately, even if the vehicle is faulty. When clearing a car for parts, the body and the engine must be separated from each other.
Step 2
How to clear the body of a foreign car Notify the customs authorities that you are going to enter the body of a foreign car into the country. This must be done in writing by drawing up a special notification letter based on the sample available at the stand.

Pay the amount of the deposit indicated by the customs authorities. This must be done in order to confirm your intentions. At the same time, you need to know that all the money that is paid as collateral is subsequently added to the total amount that is required for customs payment in this case. In the event that the deposit is paid, but the body has not been imported into the country, the amount paid will be returned to the owner within three years from the date of payment from the owner's written application.
Step 4
Deliver the body to the customs office and proceed to the clearance process. Identify the details and provide the customs authorities with a certificate of control over the entire delivery process. Sign the contract for the storage of the body in the warehouse located at the customs office. Before signing such an agreement, the customs inspector is obliged to inspect the arrived spare parts together with you.
Step 5
Show up on the day for which customs clearance is scheduled at the customs point where the body is located. Get in the queue and give the customs officer the delivery receipt. Wait for an expert assessment of the body and get your hands on an act of customs inspection of the body.
Step 6
Pay all required payments. Remember, at a certain expert assessment, you will have to pay import duty, which is 15% of the total amount and 18% VAT. Submit your payment receipt in the appropriate window.
Step 7
Get all the documents for the body, pick it up from the warehouse and at this the customs clearance procedure will be considered complete.
