It is believed that the production of gasoline is the task of the oil refining industry. Fuel is becoming more expensive all the time, and motorists are constantly thinking about how to reduce the cost of maintaining a "four-wheeled friend". At the same time, waste is thrown into the environment, which could become the basis for the production of gasoline.

It is necessary

  • - rubber waste;
  • - bake;
  • - distiller;
  • - 3 refractory containers.

Instructions

Step 1

For the manufacture of gasoline, containers are first of all needed. First of all, it is a metal barrel with a tight-fitting lid. A heat-resistant tube must be connected to the cover. You will use this vessel as a retort. Any capacity is suitable for a condenser, and a water seal requires a strong vessel with two tubes. One of the tubes will have to be under water, and the other on the surface.

Step 2

Assemble the device for obtaining liquid hydrocarbons. Connect the pipe coming out of the retort lid to the condenser. Insert a hose into the condenser. Connect its other end to the water seal tube, which will be under water. Connect the second shutter tube to the stove, and put a retort on the stove. You will have a closed system for high temperature cracking (pyrolysis).

Step 3

Load rubber waste into the retort and close the lid. Heat contents over high heat. Under the influence of high temperature, rubber decomposes. The bonds between molecules are destroyed. This is followed by the sublimation of the separated molecules. They enter the condenser, where the temperature is significantly lower. Accordingly, vapors begin to accumulate there, and then condense. The substance passes into a liquid state of aggregation, this is artificial oil.

Step 4

In the pyrolysis process, not only liquid hydrocarbons are formed, but also an additional mixture of gases. That is why the system must be closed. Most of the gas is methane, which passes through all the elements of the device and, ultimately, enters the furnace. There it burns superbly, helping to maintain the desired temperature and not waste excess fuel.

Step 5

What's in your condenser isn't gasoline yet. To turn the contents of the condenser into fuel, you need a distiller, like the one used in moonshine stills. There should be no open fire. In this case, an electric stove is preferable. The boiling point is not very high, maximum 200 ° C, but it can be significantly lower. It all depends on the quality of the waste from which the "synthetic oil" is made.
