Step 1
Make sure there is a new version for your audio system. To do this, you should go to the developer's website, find your radio model and see the updates available for it. Memorize or write down the latest version code. Make sure you are on the official website of the manufacturer. The Internet is full of fraudulent sites that talk about the emergence of new software and either send viruses along with fake programs, or deceive users by forcing them to pay money. Remember that the firmware is provided free of charge in 99% of cases!
Step 2
Find the instructions for your radio, as a rule, the currently installed software version is indicated on the general information home page. If the instructions are lost, try to find a button or section of information about the system in the radio settings, in which, as a rule, they write which version is installed.
Step 3
After finding out your version, remove the radio tape recorder. The latest car radios have a standard mini-usb input, with which the radio is connected to a computer. If the model is older, it is possible that a special adapter wire came with it.
Step 4
As soon as the radio is connected to the computer, install the new software in the folder that appears after connecting it to the computer. This process is no different from installing regular programs and will take very little time.
Step 5
Contact the service center if your radio is too old to interact with it through a computer in the usual ways available to the average user. Since it makes no sense to buy other expensive equipment, it is easier to give it to professionals for flashing, who will do it for you in the shortest possible time.
