On cars with an injection engine, ignition problems are quite common. Since the adjustment takes a long time, it is often carried out only by specialists, but if certain rules are followed, you can do it yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare to adjust the ignition. You will need to set the correct direction of the lead angle. First, disconnect the universal vacuum hose from the engine vacuum corrector. Then, to make it easier to check the timing during ignition, connect the positive terminal on the stroboscope to the positive terminal located on the car's battery.
Step 2
Proceed to adjust the ignition in the car by switching the clamp "mass". To do this, connect it to the negative terminal. Now it is imperative to remove the strained tip of the high-voltage wire fixed in one of the cylindrical sockets on the distributor cover. Since many of the work items are energized, be sure to wear gloves when working.
Step 3
Insert your stroboscope sensor as carefully as possible into the socket that is free under the cylinder, connecting it to the high-voltage wire on the first cylinder of the engine. Use the rubber plug for the clutch housing to adjust the ignition time in the vehicle. To do this, start the engine engine and direct the flashing light stream from the stroboscope to the special hatch located on the clutch device.
Step 4
Pay attention to the small mark that will be issued on the flywheel by a flashing strobe light. Visually, it looks like a fixed point. In the case of a completely correct ignition timing, this point on the engine flywheel should be in the middle of the middle division of the flywheel and its previous division. If it is located in the wrong place, then it will be necessary to continue adjusting the ignition timing by loosening the three nuts on which the ignition flywheel distributor is attached.
