Nowadays, it is simply impossible to imagine a new car without a good audio and video system. Indeed, for every motorist, it is of great importance what sound will be in the car, as well as what quality can be obtained when listening to and viewing electronic media. That is why you want to install the car radio yourself, while saving a certain amount of money.
Instructions
Step 1
The main source of electricity in any car radio is a modern battery. It is also the most important danger to the sound quality of the car radio and all its speakers, especially if the "+" terminal of the audio system gets to the "-" power terminal, or to one of the other terminals on the speakers.
Step 2
To connect the car radio, it is necessary to correctly connect the "plus" and "minus" to the car battery. But on the other hand, when connected to it, you can get the maximum sound power of the speakers and the absence of almost all interference and sound pickups in the car radio.
Step 3
Most often, it is connected through the ignition switch or using a cigarette lighter. In addition, when connecting, you need to check that the positive connector of the wire is only copper and stranded, otherwise noise in the sound is inevitable. Also, such wires must be used with a large cross-section of 4 mm, and the recommended wire length should be as short as possible.
Step 4
Then, after choosing the right wire, you need to install a special additional fuse at a total distance of 40-50 cm from the positive terminal of your car battery, which will protect your radio tape recorder from overheating and damage. This wire must be well insulated, since when connected to the negative terminal it can spark and lead to a fire hazard.
Step 5
The laying of the negative wire should be carried out without various types of twisting and distant location from energy consumers. The connection of the positive and negative wires to the car radio is carried out only after connecting the car speakers to it. Speaker wires should also be well insulated.
Step 6
Try to connect the car radio to the battery only when all the speaker connections have already been made, and all that remains is to connect the car radio to the main plus. If you do everything strictly according to this plan, then the car radio will serve you for a long time, and the sound will be pleasantly pleasing with its quality.
