An interesting rating of the reliability of automakers was made by the American company J. D. Power and Associates, which has been doing this for many years. The company counted the number of complaints about malfunctions for the last year for one hundred cars of 2010 release. To do this, they interviewed 37 thousand American drivers and compiled a rating of auto brands. The most reliable, and for the third year in a row, remained the Japanese brand Lexus (Toyota's premium brand), there are only 71 breakdowns per 100 Lexus. The second place is still occupied by the German brand Porsche, as it was a year ago, with 91 breakdowns. The third place went to the American car manufacturer Lincoln with 112 breakdowns. The fourth and fifth places went to Toyota and Mercedes-Benz, followed by Buick, Honda, Ram, Suzuki, Mazda. Among the "Top 10" car brands, seven places went to Japanese manufacturers.
