The seller does not need to visit the MREO to remove the car from the register. Make sure that the new owner of the car re-registered it to himself within a month, so that later you do not have to pay taxes for it, as well as possible fines.
When making the purchase of a car, the new owner with all the documents for the car of its previous owner and old license plates must register the purchased vehicle for himself with the MREO within a month.

When performing the operation of buying a car, you can leave its old numbers on it, if: the buyer and the seller live in the same region and the numbers are in very good condition - there are no scuffs, dents, additional holes other than those provided for by the design.
The procedure for buying and selling a car now does not provide for the obligatory entry by the traffic police inspector of the engine number of the car.
If the seller of the vehicle within a month does not receive confirmation that the car has been removed from registration, you need to contact the traffic police with a written statement. After that, the person who will drive this car will be a delinquent.
