It is necessary

Key "13", container for drained liquid (basin), coolant (about 10 liters, depending on the characteristics of the car)

Instructions

Step 1

At the beginning of the procedure, it is necessary to put the lever of the car stove faucet drive in the extreme right position (the faucet is open).

Step 2

Unscrew the cap on the expansion tank.

Step 3

Unscrew the radiator filler cap.

Step 4

Find the drain plug in the lower left corner of the radiator, substitute a container (basin) prepared in advance under it.

Step 5

Unscrew the radiator cap. Wait until all the liquid from it goes into the container.

Step 6

After that, find the drain bolt on the cylinder block (it is located on the side of the candles, under them). Place the same container under the vehicle bottom in this place.

Step 7

Unscrew the bolt with a 13 key. Wait until the remaining liquid leaves the cooling system.

Step 8

Before filling with new coolant, screw the plug and screw the drain bolt back in place. Also, in order to avoid the formation of an air lock, it is necessary to loosen the clamp, disconnect the hose from the intake manifold fitting. After that, fill in a new antifreeze, wait until liquid begins to flow out of the fitting and connect the removed hose back. Add antifreeze to the radiator to the end. Pour antifreeze into the expansion tank according to the marks.

Step 9

Start the engine, warm it up, let it run. Then check the coolant level, if necessary add antifreeze to the radiator.
