To issue a CTP policy, you must first go through a vehicle inspection, during which information about the vehicle will be included in a single maintenance database. Since 2013, the owner of the vehicle or a trusted person has the right to independently choose the operator of the vehicle inspection, regardless of the place of registration of the vehicle. The duration of the vehicle's technical inspection is now strictly limited: for gasoline vehicles - no more than 39 minutes, and for diesel or gas powered vehicles - no longer than 43 minutes. The following documents are required to pass the technical inspection: - an identity document (or power of attorney) of the owner of the car; - technical device passport (or registration certificate). You need to know that the operator of the technical inspection does not have the right to demand other documents (driver's license, medical certificate, etc.) An appropriate contract is concluded with the operator for the services of carrying out the technical inspection. Car technical inspection is carried out on a paid basis. The cost of technical inspection is set by operators within the maximum figures approved by federal law. It varies depending on the amount of work performed, on the category of the car and the region where it is registered. At the end of the technical inspection, the operator draws up a diagnostic card with the test results (in two copies in writing and in electronic form). The data is stored in a single maintenance database for at least 5 years, so if the technical inspection coupon was lost, it can be restored from any operator. The vehicle diagnostic card is now marked with an emergency parking sign, alarm, first aid kit, fire extinguisher in the car. The owner of the car is given a diagnostic card, a technical inspection coupon or an international maintenance certificate. If the card contains a record that it is impossible to operate the vehicle, the technical inspection coupon, of course, is not issued. If malfunctions were identified during maintenance, the next inspection can be carried out later than 20 days later. You will also need to pay for repeated maintenance. In the event that the next inspection is carried out by the same operator, the fee is paid only for those indicators that did not meet the established requirements. Remember that if a 20-day period is missed or maintenance is carried out with another operator, the entire procedure must be repeated and paid in full.
