With the introduction of new categories, replacing the previous category E, the form of training and passing exams for the right to drive the corresponding vehicle has changed. To obtain category E, you need a package of documents and at least a year of driving experience.
As a rule, category E is opened only by those drivers who not only drive a car professionally, but also see the meaning of their lives in this. Driving trucks and heavy trucks requires not only experience, you need to really love this technique and be well versed in it.
A license issued after graduation from a driving school allows you to drive far from all vehicles. All vehicles are categorized according to their weight, dimensions and driving complexity. Accordingly, a mark is put on the driver's license about what type of vehicle the owner of this document has the right to drive.
Changes in legislation regarding the categories of driving vehicles
The legislator decided to amend the law "On road safety" and on November 5, 2013, changes came into force in the list of categories that are indicated in a driver's license and give him the right to drive a particular technique. In the same period, new categories were added: C1E and D1E. Now the E has been replaced by other heavy-duty vehicles detailing the right to drive.
Requirements for obtaining category E
• reaching the age of 21;
• experience in driving vehicles for a period of at least 1 year within the boundaries of B, C, D;
• availability of your own car with a complete list of relevant documents;
• a statement of the presence of a driving experience in any enterprise or organization for a period of at least 12 months;
To obtain a license with the mark BE, CE, DE or D1E, you need to complete a driver's course in the selected category. The choice should be guided not by cost, but by the possession of a training center for the appropriate vehicle and the availability of experienced instructors. To obtain a license at the end of a driving school, you will need the following package of documents:
• identity card (passport);
• medical certificate (driver's commission);
• personal driver card (issued at the driving school);
• a statement of the presence of a driving experience in any enterprise or organization for a period of at least 12 months;
You will not need to pass the theoretical part of the exam. Driving is given in two stages: first - at the autodrome or a specialized closed area, then - on the test route.
How to add category E to new rights
If the right to drive any cars with "large" trailers and articulated buses, which corresponds to category E, is obtained before 01.01.12, all other categories with the letter "E" will be opened in the new driver's license. For those who studied for the right to drive such vehicles after that date, only those categories for which the exams were passed will be open.
