Step 1
There are no universal advice in the event of a car getting stuck in the snow, and probably cannot be. Everything will depend on your driving skills, type of drive, type of transmission, snow depth, etc.
Step 2
Do not skid unnecessarily. That is, if the car cannot move a centimeter back or forward, then it is better to get out and try to do something. It's good if there are at least two more men in the car with you - they can help push the car out.
Step 3
Can't budge even with help? Grab a shovel and dig out the drive wheels, because during the time that you skidded under them, ice holes must have formed. You can put something under the wheels, most often they put rubber car mats. Don't forget to pick them up later.
Step 4
Didn't make it out? Try to get off the ground. If your car is with a manual transmission, then roll back into the hole that you dug, and then sharply press on the gas, thus adding inertia to the engine power - there is a chance to drive a little further. A couple of times you can swing, you can overcome a difficult section.
Step 5
If your car is equipped with an automatic transmission, then it is worth turning on one of its lowering modes - "1", "2" or "L". Squeeze out the brake, turn on the lowering mode, and, smoothly releasing the brake, add gas.
Step 6
If you didn't manage to get out on the “automatic”, then you can try to get out of the way. At low engine speeds, you need to switch from position "R" to "D" and vice versa. But you should not do this for too long - a transmission breakdown is possible.
Step 7
If attempts to get out were still unsuccessful, then there is only one way out - to look for a towing vehicle. A strong cable is required for towing, so take care of it in advance.
