Refuel the car when a little fuel remains in the gas tank - 5-6 liters. Fill with 20 liters. Accelerate to 50 km per hour and move at a constant speed.

Wait until fresh gasoline, mixed with old residues, enters the engine through the fuel line. Listen to if the operation of the unit changes. If everything is the same, then gasoline is no better and no worse. If unusual sounds occur, the fuel quality is lower.

The fact is that poor fuel quality causes malfunctions in a car engine. Pay attention to spark plug firing. If gaps appear in their work, and of all the conditions that could affect this, only gasoline has changed, then add this gas station to the "black" list

Consider detonation of a car engine as one of the most dangerous manifestations of low quality gasoline. In this case, the motor is unstable; ringing metal knocks can be heard. Drivers usually say about them: "fingers knock." The crankshaft speed decreases, the engine overheats, pops of black smoke from the muffler appear.

Determine if the engine thrust is changing. A decrease in dynamics also indicates a low quality of the refueled fuel.

Another sign of poor fuel is the twitching of the car while driving, its uneven movement, of course, provided that you do not suddenly release the clutch pedal.

Be sure to measure how many kilometers the filled gasoline will last. Monitor your fuel consumption constantly. And at a proven gas station there is a supply of low-quality fuel. So, if, under other constant circumstances, fuel consumption has increased significantly, this also indicates a low quality of gasoline.

Avoid petrol stations where the vehicle behaves inappropriately after refueling. And always keep your receipts. Low-quality fuel destroys the elements of the fuel system, the engine and spark plugs, the catalytic converter. Repairing them is an expensive pleasure.
