On especially dangerous sections of roads, difficult junctions or when there is a difficult movement, the flow of cars is often regulated by the gestures of the traffic controller. In order to correctly direct the transport, it is necessary to quickly and correctly assess the situation on the road and, of course, to know the meaning of the traffic controller's gestures.
Necessary
Rod and disc with a red signal
Instructions
Step 1
When regulating traffic on the road, use a baton or a special disc with a red reflector - this will improve the visibility of the signals given to drivers and pedestrians. It must be held in the hand that will give the main signals. Remember that the adjustment is made with the whole body and with both hands raised together or separately, depending on the direction of travel.
Step 2
Raise either hand up to stop all vehicles and pedestrians, or before changing traffic. A loudspeaker can be used as an additional means of stopping cars or other commands.
Step 3
To resume movement in the desired direction, correctly set the hand gesture and sound the whistle signal, which serves as an additional means of attracting the attention of motorists. It can also be used for gross traffic offenses.
Step 4
To steer roadless vehicles straight or to the right, stand either side of the traffic you want to allow, extend your arms to the side or lower them to your sides. In this case, the movement of any vehicles and pedestrians from the side of your chest or back will be prohibited.
Step 5
If you want to allow traffic in all directions, stand with your left side to the road and extend your right hand forward. In this case, the tram should only go to the left - towards the outstretched arm. Pedestrians with this direction of the baton will be able to cross the carriageway behind only your back.
Step 6
Remember that vehicles on the right side of the adjuster must stand still with their right hand extended, and vehicles in the back may turn right in this case. The tram is always obliged to move only in the direction of the traffic controller's hand.
