Step 1
For safety reasons, disconnect earth from the battery during work. Then wrap the tip of the screwdriver with a rag or tape to avoid damaging the trim when removing it. If the car is equipped with an electric drive for the outside rearview mirrors, remove the switch by inserting a screwdriver and pulling it out.
Step 2
If there are manual windows, remove the handle by removing the stud and unscrew the bolt located under the handle, then pull it towards you and remove it. Unscrew the screws that secure the casing after removing the plastic plugs. Remove the lock release button by pulling it up.
Step 3
Detach the inner trim that is installed on the outside rearview mirror. A loudspeaker may also be located in its place. To do this, unscrew the bolt and press the grille lock. Begin to separate the trim from the door where the catches are located. Be very careful and careful when performing this procedure, because often the clips break and then you will have to look for a replacement.
Step 4
Remove the trim upwards. At the same time, the sliding window seal, which is located on the upholstery, is disconnected. Then remove the lock drive cable located on the inner door handle. If necessary, remove the foam seal from the door cutout. Remember that the adhesive seal adheres better to the foam when removed at a lower temperature.
Step 5
When re-installing the casing in its place, carefully check the presence of all clips, otherwise replace the damaged ones. Make sure that they fit exactly into the grooves, for this, carefully press the trim. All other actions are carried out in the reverse order of removal.
