Nissan entered the Russian automotive market back in 1993. After that, a lot of time has passed, and the company continues to successfully develop in our country. Due to the popularity of this brand of machines, many questions arise about their operation. Let's look at how to remove the door trim using the example of the Nissan Almera.

Instructions

Step 1

Pick up a small, thin screwdriver. Wrap it in a cloth or any other soft material. After that, try to pry the door handle: insert a screwdriver and pull up. In this case, several latches should unfasten, which will be enough. Grasp the handle with your hands and pull it towards you.

Step 2

Take the pad that is underneath and pull it up. Do not be alarmed that it is quite rigidly fixed, it can be removed without any problems. Remove the two bolts located on the right and left. Remember that if the bolts do not respond well due to oxidation or rust, then you need to apply WD-40 to them, which will facilitate the loosening process. After that, carefully disconnect the frame from the door handle and remove the power window connector, if any.

Step 3

If the glasses are lowered mechanically, then remove the winch, which is used to lower the glasses. To do this, find an iron bracket inside it, pry it with a screwdriver or hook and pull it up. Remove the handle and pull out the door release button. Gently pull the entire opening towards you and release the remaining clips and retainers. Make sure not to break them, otherwise the door trim in some places will not fall into place in the future.

Step 4

Since the upper part of the glass is covered with pieces of iron, just pull the entire skin up and remove it. Under the sheathing, you will find polyethylene, which is secured with a sealant. Do not try to warm it up with a hairdryer - this is unlikely to help. Pull the polyethylene towards you, and with the other hand, use a sharp knife to cut the sealant. Fear not, backing up won't be much of a hassle.

Step 5

Perform the subsequent assembly in the reverse order, remember that it is better to insert the clips into the casing only after the entire structure is assembled.
