Among motorists, there are those who got into an awkward situation when, having put the car on the alarm and, for example, forgetting to turn off the light in the cabin, in the morning it is not possible to get into the car. Moreover, there are no key locks. But you should not despair, because such a difficult task at first glance - to open a car with a "dead" battery - is solved quite simply.

Necessary

  • - serviceable car battery with a voltage of 12 volts;
  • - two wires with a cross section of at least 1 mm2 and a length of about one meter each with crocodile clips

Instructions

Step 1

The procedure for opening the car, when a poorly charged battery “sat down”, begins with its most difficult stage - you need to get to the generator, removing the engine protection. To do this, of course, you will have to "lie down" on the ground, but you can't do without looking under the car.

Step 2

Now you need to find the "positive" bolt ("positive" terminal) on the generator and connect the "positive" battery wire to this contact, respectively.

Step 3

Connect the "negative" wire of the storage battery to the car body. More precisely, the wire must be connected to any stainless steel bolt or to bare metal on the body of the car. The alarm is now connected to an external power source and reacts to the keyfob signals again. It remains only to remove the discharged battery and charge it.
