Anything can happen on a trip, but the most common problem on the road is a punctured wheel tube. In such cases, the car must always have a whole spare wheel. The procedure for changing a wheel is as easy as possible for a quick change, since in some situations the stop is made in places prohibited for this.
Necessary
Jack, wheel wrench "for 19"
Instructions
Step 1
First, put the parking brake on the car. After that, it is better to squeeze the clutch and turn on the second or third speed so that the car is additionally held at the included speed. For complete confidence, especially if the car is tilted, put something heavy (stones, bricks) under the wheels against the direction of the possible roll of the car.
Step 2
Then loosen the wheel bolts. Do this with a special wheel wrench (usually a "19" wheel wrench). On most typical cars, the wheel is supported by four such bolts, but on modern sports and "luxury" cars there may be more. The initial force on the balloon is usually applied with the foot, and only then can the bolts be loosened by hand. It is important not to remove the bolts completely at this stage.
Step 3
Next, use a jack to lift the car from the side of the punctured wheel. To do this, substitute the folded jack under a special reinforced part of the car bottom - the jack. First, while supporting the jack, begin to unfold it. When the machine rests firmly enough on the jack foot, feel free to continue to raise the machine. Raise until the wheel to be replaced rotates freely (check by turning the wheel by hand).
Step 4
When the machine is raised, remove the wheel bolts completely (after you have loosened them in advance, this can be done by hand).
Step 5
Now remove the wheel from the hub.
