Then you can proceed to disassembling the panel. All deflectors and air ducts must be removed from it. It is also necessary to disassemble the glove box. Fold back all the metal tabs on the back and remove the trim. You need to disassemble absolutely everything.
Step 2
Then you can proceed to pasting. It is necessary to glue neatly cut pieces of dynamate onto large inner surfaces. The upper part requires special attention. The fact is that it is in contact with the windshield. It is also good to paste over the lower part, which is located below the lining. It is necessary to stick the material in all places where rattling can be emitted when tapped. You can also stick the dynamat to the bottom of the shelf under the glove compartment.
Step 3
After that, you can proceed to the foam rubber. Glue them over each deflector and the point of contact of the air duct with the torpedo. Cut out a strip of 10x20 millimeters and glue it around the edges where the pad fits. Remove excess. Install the cover in its place. In the place where the lining comes into contact with the panel body, it is necessary to stick a strip of foam rubber 25x10 millimeters. Glue carpet strips on the sides of the panel at the point of contact with the doors. When closing, the doors will press the panel. This will help keep her from hesitating.
Step 4
Then the foam rubber needs to be glued inside the panel. It should be located in the place where the various wires and cables go. It is imperative to stick the foam rubber strips on the contact points with the console. This must be done in such a way that the strips protrude slightly. When installing the panel, they should bend to the side. It is recommended to glue the switches that are located on the console.
Step 5
After the entire panel is glued, you can start assembling it. Take this matter especially seriously. Connect the wires correctly.
