Since 2012, technical inspection has been carried out by technical inspection operators accredited by the Russian Union of Auto Insurers (RSA).

Step 1
It is necessary to determine the location of the inspection. In 2015, the availability of technical inspection increased compared to 2014 or 2013. Now, in order to pass the inspection, you do not have to travel far - the maintenance points are nearby, there are no queues.
Choose the most convenient for you personally - located near the house or on the way from work point of maintenance. By the way, it doesn't matter where your car is registered - you can undergo technical inspection in any region of Russia. It is not uncommon for car dealers to receive accreditation.

Step 2
It is necessary to decide who and when will go to undergo technical inspection - the owner of the car or his representative, who must have a power of attorney in a simple written form.
Step 3
Prepare the documents necessary for passing the technical inspection (see the section "You will need"). I draw your attention - just one document identifying the car (passport or registration certificate) and a power of attorney, if necessary. They do not have the right to ask for documents other than those listed above (clause 9 of the Rules for conducting maintenance; parts 2, 4 of article 17 of Law N 170-FZ).
Step 4
Check bulbs, signal, brakes and vehicle equipment: fire extinguisher, warning triangle. If something does not work or is missing, there is no point in driving a faulty car for inspection - they will still refuse.
Step 5
Car wash. The machine must be presented for inspection in a clean condition.
Step 6
Transfer of the vehicle and vehicle documents to a technical expert. If you will not be present during the procedure, it is worth insisting on the registration of the vehicle acceptance certificate.

Conclusion of an agreement and payment for technical inspection services.

Anxious wait … The inspection procedure takes about 30 minutes.

Obtaining a diagnostic card. A diagnostic card is issued in any case, even if your car does not meet safety requirements. In this case, there will be a corresponding entry on the card.
The diagnostic card is certified by the signature of the technical expert who carried out the inspection and the seal of the organization. In addition, you must be given a certificate of services rendered.
Step 10
Re-inspection. In case of negative results of maintenance within 20 days, you have the right to come to the same maintenance point and undergo a repeated inspection in the amount of those points for which you had negative indicators.
