Fog lights are a useful feature of any car when driving in bad weather conditions. On the VAZ-2110, these headlights are provided by the manufacturer only in the "Lux" configuration, so their installation falls entirely on the shoulders of the car owner.

Instructions

Step 1

Decide where you will install your fog lights. The best option would be the bottom of the bumper, where there are holes in which they fit perfectly. After that, select directly the fog lights themselves, which for this car model are of two types: with corrugated and transparent glass. The latter shine with spots, so it is undesirable to choose them. Corrugated ones perfectly scatter light over the entire surface of the roadway.

Step 2

Also buy fog lamp frames, relays, wiring harness, and a power button. After that, run the wires from under the dashboard into the engine compartment. To do this, you will have to disassemble part of the panel and find a place to install the button. Connect the wires to the connectors on the headlights and carefully insulate them with electrical tape.

Step 3

Install the headlights into the frames and securely fasten to the lower part of the bumper. Connect the wire that goes from the side lights to the relay on the 85th connector, to terminal 86, bring the "minus" from the battery, to 87 - "plus", and power the mounting block from the 30th output. From the unit, lead the wires to the fog lights. With this connection, this type of headlights will work when the side lights are turned on.

Step 4

If you want to make the headlights turn on with a button, then install it in the break in the supply wire. Be sure to adjust the headlights after finishing work. If possible, test them in poor visibility conditions such as rain or snow.
