Gazelle is one of the most common trucks in Russia. Almost everything is transported on it, so many car owners are thinking about how to insulate their car to provide heat in the cold season.

Step 1
Take measurements of your van carefully to obtain the necessary materials for the construction of the frame. It can be made both from wood and from a metal profile. Also buy film faced plywood or galvanized iron for the finish cladding and self-tapping screws of various lengths. Do not forget about polystyrene or any insulation, which will be the main element.
Step 2
Examine the surface carefully. If there is rust, mold marks, severe bumps or dents on it, then try to fix them. Wash and clean the work area thoroughly. Treat the surface with a special impregnation or anti-corrosion agent. If the frame is wooden, then carefully paint over the slats or treat them with varnish, which will extend their service life.
Step 3
Carry out the frame in the form of squares, with a side of about half a meter. It all depends on how tall your van is and what material you use for the structure. Place sheets of foam or other insulation between the frame and the wall, then carefully screw them to the surface of the van and sheathe with sheets of plywood or galvanized iron. Treat all joints and seams of the surface with an airtight material.
Step 4
If desired, finish the surface with plastic or any other material you like. For floor insulation, use transport plywood or flooded floor. Remember that all these actions will lead to a slight decrease in the interior volume of the van.
Step 5
If you have a Gazelle for passenger transportation, then do not make any frames and unnecessary measurements. Buy insulation and carefully route it between the body and the trim. This option saves not only the interior space of the cabin, but also your time and money.
