The modern buyer in search of a used car is less likely to go to specialized car markets or buy newspapers with ads. In order to view the offers, you just need to go to a specialized site and enter the desired brand and model in the search field. But how can you choose the car that will meet your expectations among the huge number of search results?

Experienced motorists who have changed more than a dozen cars agree that really worthy options can be bought either at an official dealership or from a private seller, but always the owner, and not a speculator-reseller. With official dealers, everything is simple - through a call to the number, you can find out the address where the car is located, and you need a place on the maps on the Internet. As a rule, the officials offer a price slightly higher than the average market price, which may not suit a potential buyer. A private trader can offer a good price for a decent car, and unscrupulous sellers know about this and try in every possible way to "disguise" themselves as them. To recognize the real seller-owner among the mass of ads, there are a number of rules and tricks.

The first step is to inspect the ad itself. In the column “seller” even some car dealers write “private person”, so this column is completely biased. It is worth paying attention to the date of the advertisement - too old means that the car has been examined by many people and it is most likely not worthy of attention. Next, there is the text of the ad itself, here you need to look at its originality. Completed in the form suggests that the seller submits such ads in large quantities, this is not typical for an ordinary owner. You need to search for a detailed text, with facts from operation and the features of the car being sold.

After the initial selection of ads, you can start making calls to the specified numbers, and here you cannot do without trickery. The indicated names of the owner can be, as it were, accidentally confused, and the reaction of the seller can be estimated. Resellers answer the call under absolutely any name, since they are forced to answer a huge number of calls for different advertisements, which is what they give themselves out.

Further, the "bombardment" of the seller with questions begins. You need to ask as much as possible: about the mileage, about the TCP, how much the owner owns the car, and so on. It will not be superfluous to ask questions about the ad, deliberately mistaking the year of release or configuration. The intermediary will not be able to answer them in detail and will not notice the error prepared by the buyer. The reseller will be brief and will agree to everything, just to lure a potential buyer to inspect the car, where it is easier for him to talk against the background of a car that is polished to a mirror shine.

All these tricks and attentiveness do not give full confidence that the ad was posted by the owner. But the fact that a person is ready to talk and knows about the car for sale in some detail speaks about the seller's confidence in his product. However, any intermediary seeks to profit from the deal, which results in an inflated price for the car. It is very rare for dealers to sell cars for a price that matches the condition of the car. The buyer should remember this and bypass such machines.
