It should be remembered that not every motorist will be able to assemble the engine on his own - without the appropriate experience, it will be very difficult to do it correctly. Usually, only an experienced minder, who is familiar with modern technologies for repairing individual engine parts, is able to carry out a competent engine assembly.

The biggest difficulties in the engine assembly process arise when assembling the cylinder head. Therefore, in most cases, it is necessary to entrust the repair and assembly of the cylinder head to the car service employees, since the probability of making a mistake is very high. But if for some reason you were forced to start assembling the engine yourself, remember that both repair and assembly of any engine components (including the aforementioned cylinder head) should begin with all the necessary checks and measurements.

In this case, the greatest attention should be paid to the valve seats. The fact is that it is the valve seat that is the most critical element of the block head. Therefore, when assembling the engine, be sure to check the reliability and tightness of the mating of the valve with the seat - then during engine operation, the gas leakage from the combustion chamber will be minimal, and the compression will be the maximum possible. A breach of tightness in this interface often leads to the appearance of dangerous defects, which, in turn, will sooner or later lead to the inevitable destruction of engine parts.

It is also important to use only the highest quality and most reliable tools during engine assembly work - mistakes and inaccuracies will inevitably lead to malfunctions in the engine, respectively, to vehicle malfunction. And do not forget to check the valve springs even before starting the assembly, or rather, their length in a free state, as well as the compression force by a certain amount - these indicators must correspond to those indicated by the engine manufacturer.

The valve stems must be lubricated with oil even before installation in the head, and when installing small-removable caps, in no case exert strong mechanical stress on them (on some engines they do not have a stop and are easily damaged). To assemble the engine efficiently, perform all actions carefully, do not start work in a hurry, and do not forget to lubricate all bolts and clamps with oil during the assembly process.
