A manual transmission (MCP) implies some control difficulties. In particular, not all novice motorists manage to smoothly get under way on the mechanics the first time.

Step 1
The work of a mechanic is based on clutch. This mechanism connects the gearbox in the passenger compartment of your vehicle to the combustion engine. Then the vehicle is ready to move.
Step 2
Find a suitable flat surface for your first lessons. Prepare your car: adjust your rearview mirrors, open windows to hear the car's engine better. Be sure to buckle up, as a bad experience can lead to a sharp jerk of the car and, therefore, injury.
Step 3
Remember the purpose of each pedal. The first on the left is the clutch, in the middle is the brake, and on the right is the gas. To successfully get under way on the mechanics, you need to check if the clutch pedal does not fall, if you can "squeeze" it all the way (if not, adjust the car seat).
Step 4
Move the transmission (move the lever) to neutral. In neutral mode, the lever should move freely to the left and right.
Step 5
Start the engine by turning the key, and fully depress the clutch pedal with your left foot, and at this moment keep your right one on the brake (the gas and brake pedals are always pressed with the right foot alternately). Set the first speed.
Step 6
Release the first pedal slowly. At one of these points, you should feel grip (engine speed will begin to drop). Also, this moment can be detected using a tachometer - the arrow will make a sharp movement. At this second, lightly press down on the gas pedal while continuing to release the pedal under your left foot. If your actions are correct, you will move.
