Many modern cars are equipped with anti-lock braking systems (ABS). If it is absent on a slippery surface, you need to brake as smoothly as possible, avoiding wheel blocking. If it does occur, then you should briefly release the brake pedal, and then press it again, thus imitating the operation of the ABS.

If the car is four-wheel drive, then when skidding, let go of the "gas" and turn the steering wheel towards the skid. It is important to remember and take into account that most often it is a skid that occurs on machines with this type of drive.
