The new version of the traffic rules introduced a ban on tinting the windshield and front side windows. Light penetration should be 75% and 70%, respectively. Therefore, it is recommended to remove the tint.

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a detergent solution by slightly diluting it with water and pouring it into a spray bottle. Now you can start removing the tint film.
Using a hair dryer, evenly heat the surface of the film to about 40-45 degrees. This will soften the glue and make the process easier. It is not recommended to bring the hair dryer close to the film in order to prevent it from melting or damaging the glass.
Step 2
If you are removing the side window tint, lower it halfway.
Step 3
Using a sharp knife blade, pry the film off the top of the glass. Peel it off carefully, trying to maintain its integrity, with a sharp and confident movement. In this case, the side glass should be lifted up gradually until the film is completely removed.
Step 4
Remove the adhesive remaining after removing the film. To do this, lay a cloth over the rubber glass seal to prevent the solution from getting inside the doors. Then, sprinkling on the glass from a spray gun and, afterwards, gently and thoroughly scraping the glue with a knife, completely clean the glass surface. Remove the remaining glue with a clean cloth.
Step 5
Use a knife to clean the edges of the glass where the glue remains.
Step 6
Look carefully at the glass to see if there are any glue or film particles.
Step 7
If you damaged the tint film, and it came off in parts, carry out such manipulations with each piece.
Thus, after completing the procedures described above, you can remove the tinting yourself without contacting a car service specialist.
