The Moscow-Don highway is one of the busiest due to the fact that it leads to the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory. Due to the increased traffic flow and the popularity of the highway, the government decided to carry out its complete reconstruction at the expense of budget funds, and then make it toll for travel. Since then, drivers have been interested in when the repair of this track will end.

Due to the fact that several large-scale world events are planned to be held in Russia at once - the Olympics and the World Cup, the infrastructure of all areas adjacent to the regions of the venue must be improved. Since the Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, the track from Moscow should be ready for the opening of these competitions. This means that already in 2014 it will be possible to reach the Black Sea coast with great comfort - a multi-lane road, the absence of any obstacles, etc.

The last few years have been actively reconstructing sections of the Moscow-Don highway from Voronezh to Rostov-on-Don. All work is being carried out to widen the track, level the terrain and lay asphalt.

In 2011, the reconstruction of the road began in the Yelets area of the Lipetsk region. Here, work is being carried out on the design of new modern interchanges, the construction of bridges, etc.

Another site in the Lipetsk region was repaired about 2 years ago and put into operation for a fee. The quality of the road has improved markedly, the speed limit is an order of magnitude higher than it was before. In addition, there are no more traffic jams due to the narrow single-lane track.

Reconstruction of tracks is also underway in the Krasnodar Territory. All the same problems are being solved here - expanding from one to 3-4 lanes, filling the edges, leveling the track and laying modern asphalt. As a result, the track should become more convenient and high-speed, which will allow various delegations and those wishing to attend the Olympics to get to the south of Russia in a shorter time. Today, the journey along this road from Moscow takes about 17-20 hours.

The road is being repaired by the Avtodor company. It was specially created in 2009 for the construction of modern toll roads that meet all modern requirements and standards.
