Step 1
First, decide on the type of alarm. Depending on the cost, devices of this type have a certain set of functions, ranging from "wild" sounds when trying to break into your car and ending with a sensor showing the location of your car. Do not skimp on good protection: an additional five to ten thousand can save your car.
Step 2
Suppose you have selected the alarm you want to install, or have already bought it. It remains to install it. First of all, disassemble the car panel. This is the perfect place to hide the alarm and shock sensor, as it is difficult to reach, and it is unlikely that you will be able to steal your car if you walked over the dashboard with a sledgehammer to get the signal.
Step 3
The next step is a little more difficult. Tap off the ignition switch wire (a plus appears on it when you start the car). You will also need to make a tap from the wire that beeps when the doors are open. If your alarm is equipped with a siren, run a pair of wires into the engine compartment and the same wire to the hood. As a rule, the signaling power is supplied from the power fuse, so make a branch to it too. The accumulated loop of wires must be pulled to the antenna unit (on some alarms, it is also the display unit). And perhaps the most difficult thing is to connect to the central lock of the car. With some types of signaling devices, this is quite problematic, you may have to connect through the door by inserting an activator into it.
