Step 1
Be sure to check if the battery is intact and sealed. Especially if the battery is not new. If you've just bought a new battery, you can skip this step. If, of course, you are confident in the seller.
Step 2
Place the battery on a special tray located under the hood. Position the battery so that the terminals are in close proximity to the contacts where you will connect them. In some vehicles, the battery is not located under the hood, but, for example, under the rear seats.
Step 3
Place the terminals on the contacts. To avoid confusion, remember that the black wire is connected to the negative pole of the battery, and red or blue to the positive. Check for a short circuit. Take a wrench and tighten the bolts on the terminals. Also hold the nuts on the back with a wrench. When working with a battery, it is best to wear safety glasses to prevent sparks from getting into your eyes.
