If the car stalls on the move or immediately after starting the engine, and the number of unstable idle revolutions ranges from 700 to 2000, flushing the idle speed control and installing an oil separator will help.
Necessary
- - liquid for washing the carburetor
- - lubrication "liquid key"
- - hex key
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the two clamps from the intake manifold of the air manifold. One clamp is in the place where the body is connected to the air filter, the other is in the place where the body is connected to the air supply unit by means of a throttle.
Step 2
Then disconnect the contacts of the air flow and temperature sensors from the branch pipe. Remove the crankcase ventilation pipe from the valve cover. You can identify this pipe by its appearance: it is wider in diameter.
Step 3
Disconnect the contact from the idle speed controller. Then, after removing the intake tract, remove the regulator itself, which is attached to a pair of M6 screws with an internal hexagon.
Step 4
Detach the solenoid from the idle speed regulator, on which the valve control contacts are located.
Step 5
Fill the chambers with carburetor flushing fluid. After a few minutes, drain and refill. Repeat this procedure until the liquid poured out of the chambers becomes light.
Step 6
Take an electromagnet and connect it to the pulse generator. Set the voltage to 12 V, frequency 1 Hz and turn on the power. Position the electromagnet vertically with the hole up.
Step 7
While the solenoid core is moving, spray carburetor flush fluid into the core. Repeat fluid filling several times every 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 8
After five minutes, turn the electromagnet over and drain the remaining liquid. Repeat the operation of flushing the core again, thus achieving its free movement.
Step 9
Blow out the solenoid and regulator thoroughly with a compressor. Treat the inner sides of both parts with a penetrating lubricant, use a "Liquid Wrench" for this.
Step 10
Connect the solenoid to the valve block. Using a rechargeable battery, apply voltage to its contacts several times. The solenoid should be triggered by the movement of the valve and a characteristic click. This will check the quality of the flush performed and the functionality of the connections.
Step 11
Reassemble all parts in reverse order, start the engine.
