Pallets are a metal sheet fixed under the bottom of the car and are used on cars to protect the engine, give the body strength and rigidity. They are mainly installed under the crankcase. Pallets are made of steel, aluminum, composite materials, fiberglass.
Necessary

Instructions
Step 1
Place the front of the car on supports, remove all panels. Support the engine and remove its middle beam. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe.
Step 2
Unscrew the old oil pan, loosen its connection with your hands or with a rubber hammer, remove the oil pan. Thoroughly clean the surface of the cylinder block from the remnants of the old seal.
Step 3
Apply a sealant available from an auto dealership around the inside of the oil pan bolt holes. The sealant must not enter the holes. Screw on the oil pan within 5 minutes after using the sealant. Tighten the bolts in the correct order and to the recommended specification for your vehicle.
Step 4
After 30 minutes, fill the engine with oil and start it. Reinstall the removed car parts in reverse order. Check the tightness of the pallet seal.
Step 5
The pallets are fastened with support on the power elements of the body - cross beam, subframe, side members - using special legs, brackets, etc. This is done in order to exclude the transmission of shocks to which the sump is exposed to the crankcase. Moreover, a properly secured sump in a frontal impact pushes the engine downward, preventing it from moving into the cab, which increases the safety of the vehicle.
